Having been with you for around 18months previously, when my body was working a lot better and I achieved the pier to pier swim, my two new knees have knocked me back enormously.
My head six months ago was not in a good place, but your understanding of how the body, muscles, and joints work in two months of short, but boring, but sensible sessions I am back up to 1k swims 2-3 times a week and aiming much higher.
At the age of 61 your understanding of how to get a crunchy old bloke going again has been great, not only with your professional knowledge but having a joke and a laugh helps the sessions work.

I sought Lee's professional advice and input following several years of acute hip pain and deteriorating flexibility. Having been an active runner and sportsman I found the pain and reduced flexibility quite a challenge. Lee has now been working with us for about a year. Anna & I enjoy joint sessions with Lee either in person, or via zoom- fitting in with our hectic lives.
Looking back I can see that Lee has followed a very patient and gentle strategy - to slowly increase flexibility, strength & endurance in a balanced way. I've also had several intense massage sessions with Lee when he has worked leg & back muscles and around my hips.
Fifteen months on, my flexibility & strength has improved and the pain is reducing. There are still some bad days, probably due to too much desk-time or driving time, but overall I'm pleased to report a significant improvement. What I like about Lee's approach is that he seeks alternative answers and is willing to explore different routes & solutions.

I am 57 and I was a fairly typical bloke, eating and drinking too much and moving too little! And when in the past I did try to get fit I usually sustained an injury.
I started training with Lee in April 2020 during the first lock down via zoom. I had recurring problems with partial tears in both achilles tendons due to not properly preparing before resuming running as well as a damaged shoulder, as a result of a quad bike accident many years ago and lower back issues.
We have a few basic items of equipment in our home, a bench, step, Swiss ball, a few weights and some resistance bands. Lee trains me twice a week via a zoom (I now live in N Yorkshire) and has concentrated on building strength and mobility in my whole body as well as focussing on areas with specific problems as well as helping me to loose weight and adopt some better lifestyle practices. Thanks to Lee’s coaching, my Achilles tendons are repaired and my shoulder is stable and I have been able to put off a shoulder repair operation and I am able to continue to enjoy a full and active life which includes hill walking, caving, cycling, ski touring as well as lots of physical work, there is a large garden and farm land to look after.
Lee is very thorough in his approach to training but has a relaxed and friendly attitude which makes each session most enjoyable and rewarding and something I look forward to.
